On June 21st, 2021, GessnerLaw, PLLC, filed a Class and Collective Action Complaint on behalf of Tiffany Wade and all current and former non-exempt hourly employees of JMJ Enterprises, Inc.

The Complaint alleges that JMJ Enterprises, Inc., permitted unpaid wages including overtime premiums for all hours worked exceeding 40 hours in a workweek.

Ms. Wade, on behalf of themselves and all other similarly situated, seeks to recover unpaid wages and other damages as allowed by the North Carolina Wage and Hour Act (“NCWHA”).

On September 30, 2023, the Court certified certain claims as a class action, allowing the case to proceed to trial in early 2024 as a class action on behalf of more than 100 employees.
